    Default Bigger kid-sized hangers?

Wondering if this exists...hangers for 6-12 yo kiddos? Both my kids have been using the same plastic hangers they've used from Babies R Us since they were babies. Apparently these are 12" hangers which I guess is the standard baby/kid size hanger.

Now though these hangers are way too small and my DS's t-shirts fall off constantly. I was going to get nicer kid hangers from Amazon (the thin velvety kind) but I looked at the measurements and they are the same size as itty baby ones!!

I read more and I think 14" hangers would be ideal but supposedly hard to find...

My kids are 7 and 13 and just use regular hangers. DS2 made the switch about a year ago, around size 8 or medium shirts.

It's past time for Target 10/$1.29 regular ones. We start hanging all long sleeve and any shirts non t-shirts at size 4-5 on regular plastic tubes. DH and I use velvet from Costco.

We do regular here. Size 8 shirts do fine on them IMO

We use the Ikea ones posted above for the in-between time until their clothes are big enough for adult size hangers.

Hangers are an odd bane of my existence. We never seem to have enough! We aren't clothes horses (well, 3 out of 4 of us aren't). I feel like I buy them dozens at a time, then in the next few weeks, we're short on hangers again. And I'm picking up "a couple more packs". It is a weird weird mystery in my house.

So, I personally would just move to adult hangers. If they have stuff that still works on the kid hangers, keep those around. But, having two slightly different bigger sizes would drive ME around the bend.

The ikea hangers work well though I think you might be able to just use normal hangers soon.

DD (age 7) just uses normal adult hangers for close to 2 years now.
