Painful breast lump

Please don't panic. I had a breast biopsy two weeks ago and it was a benign fibroid. The biopsy itself isn't too bad and you will just have a very bruised breast for a week or two after.

I just went through this a few months ago and mine turned out to be a lymph node. The biopsy wasn't bad at all. A little sore the days after but I just took it as a few days to rest without guilt.

I totally hear you on the nerves though. I was a wreck! Even though my gut was that it was nothing, I kept having these moments of panic and the "what ifs". I don't think there's anything anyone could have told me that would have made that feeling go away, I just had to wait it out. Hopefully they can get you in quickly. Lots of hugs!
