Does anyone read Baudelaire in English? He's a French poet and I LOVE his stuff but I don't know if there have been any good translations. I never hear about him in English speaking circles but I can assure you he's a legend among francophiles. Might be a "gem" you can discover together?

I would go with Neruda and then for the ones in the club who don't read the book, they can watch the movie Il Postino!

I would go with Neruda (his odes are great) or Billy Collins. Billy's poems are funny and great. Neruda is my absolute favorite.
