It is $169 at Albee baby now. Trying to decide to go ahead with this seat or stick with what we have always had-Britax! . Well the blue one is, not the red.

Thanks to everyone who posted to this thread! We do appreciate you taking the time to share your finds today.

Wanted to get folks opinions about how Prime Day went today. What do you think about the deals? Any glitches?

    Here are our observations:

    1. The Lightning deals for baby gear seemed to slow to sell out this morning—and then around noon eastern, bam! Things started to sell out in minutes or seconds.

    2. Unlike last year, Amazon did actually put some good stuff on sale—both regular and lightning. An Ergo 360, baby bjorn one carriers, babyletto cribs, GB Pockit strollers.

    3. Sadly, some brands struggled to get any love. Poor Peg Perego must still be sitting on a warehouse full of Skate strollers—they went begging even on sale for $250 (originally that was a $700 stroller). Evenflo struggled to sell out its car seat and stroller lightning deals.

    4. There seemed to be less tech glitches that we could see from our end, compared to the first and second years!

    5. Target seems to be the catalyst for even more deals, as they launched their baby gear sale with Graco 20% off deals—Amazon matched these and sometimes gave an additional 20% off. Score! We saw record low prices for some Graco car seats, including popular ones like the Graco 4Ever.

    6. The regular deals on Chicco car seats (the KeyFit down to $160) and some Britax seats and strollers were also quite impressive. Perhaps not as low as Black Friday pricing, but close!

    What do you guys think?

    alan
