Gymboree Chapter 11 sales?

Has anyone visited a Gymboree store that is closing? Any good sales? I thought the store closings were happening pretty fast, so I am assuming they are liquidating merchandise.

Only certain stores are closing, so if yours isn't one of them you should be okay.

From their FAQ...

Q. When will Gymboree and Crazy 8 stores begin store closing sales? What can you tell me about the discounts that will be available?
A. Store closing sales at certain Gymboree and Crazy 8 stores are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. We do not have any information at this time about when various discounts will be rolled out to customers, but we do expect that there will be emails alerting you to potential savings.

Q. Will closing stores still be accepting coupons during the closing sales?
A. No coupons will be accepted at closing Gymboree and Crazy stores. This includes coupons from magazines, email, direct mail and customer service accommodations.

Ours is closing... I received an email a few days ago about the stores closing.... I will likely go by tomorrow to see if there's anything for DS or my nieces/nephews.

The one near me (3 miles from my house in Cerritos) is staying open, but that one is always busy; however the one by my work is (Santa Ana). I do find it strange though in CA that some of the stores they are closing are in high income areas (Stanford, Mill Valley, and Carlsbad). I am surprised that the restructuring doesn't effect Janie & Jack.
