We bought a new mattress for DD2. It's the IKEA hasvag spring mattress and it's roll packed
Anyone have any experience with whether it needs to be aired out before use? And for how long? The instruction says it can be used immediately. We're planning on building the bed tomorrow but now wondering if we need to plan to have it aired out first??

We just bought a foam mattress, and slept on it that night and it was fine. Mostly decompressed, and no smells...

My kids slept on theirs a few hours after we got them home and didn't complain.
