Default What age for a play tent?

I scored a cute easy up play tent for my nephew and trying to decide how many years I need to hold onto it (if at all). Package says 3+ so maybe there are choking hazards (it doesn’t mention that- doesn’t it have to?). But, if no choking hazards and it’s safe...when will it be fun? 2yo? 3? 4? I totally can’t remember! With our age gap, I feel like we always had a tent around.

My DS just turned 5 and he is asking for one for Christmas if that helps.

Edited to add that I think I misunderstood your question. I thought you meant how old would he still want it. My DS would have loved one probably starting around age 2.

My youngest was still crawling when we got our, and she loved it! My 9 year old still plays with it. It’s a great thing to have if you have space to set it up.

We got it when DS was 2 and it still comes out sometimes at playdates now (he's 7).

My daughter is 7.5 and still loves the IKEA tent she got when she was 2 years old.
