DS is almost 8 and has been trying to do magic tricks he sees on YouTube, but he isn't very good a replicating them at home. I think he would do better with ready made props. Any recommendations for a magic kit for that age?

We’ve given both the above kits and received positive feedback. I think the tricks in the second one are significantly easier. We got that kit for a precocious 6 year old, who loved it, but my son only got good at following directions enough to do a good job with magic this past year when he was 8.
