Just go get it done, men have no idea what is important to women, and facial hair removal isn't a luxury. If you don't have time, I use this and it's quick, easy, painless and cheap!! They are everywhere under 10.00 https://www.target.com/p/clio-174-be...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

I told DH that I wouldn't do this for anyone other than his mom.

You can't see it in the photo, mostly because the lighting in my bedroom is dreadful, but there's a thread of sparkly silver in the plaid check that makes the shirt a bit more fun. I'll be rolling up the sleeves and leaving buttons unbuttoned ... and doing the half-tucked thing if I can make it work.

And I also got DD a pearl necklace to wear with her shirt because she was peeved that she wasn't going to dress "fancy" for the party.
    That is so sweet!!

Your post inspired me to throw on some costume pearls the other day with a flannel shirt for our annual office party. I ended up wearing black leggings (because I wanted to wear boots and not flats).

Hope your event is fun and don't forget to take some pictures!

It's not a time thing, it's a "DH needs to give me money" thing.

If that’s the case, you need to buy a home waxer of some sort. Facial hair is just a don’t.

If money is an issue, honestly those personal trimmers are so cheap, and easy to use. Waxing the skin on your face can leave it red, irritated. For now, they might meet your needs until you are in a position to pay for your threading. It takes a few minutes and can be done anywhere (I keep one on my car console, the visor mirror is perfect and when I'm on the road I often see the peach fuzz, I can touch up in a minute, of course I make sure nobody is around). I also keep a
tweezers I'm my car, because it seems that's when I seem to find that stray hair that grows overnight!

Waxing and I no longer get along - I always break out.

I prefer threading, but I never tell DH when I have to go back because ... I just don't make myself a priority. I did finally tell him & went the Friday before the party.

Bottom line? I was red lipstick and makeup ready for Sunday.

It is and it isn't, but he's willing to fork it over as long as I tell him. He doesn't magically know.
