We all wear Sorels here but they're pretty pricey, especially for someone who doesn't actually live in a snowy area. I'd probably go with something from Kamik instead. Still good quality, but not as $$.

Which Bogs do you have? I'm in CNY and have been thinking about them for me. All 3 of my kids have them this year and they have been great!

I saw some Pajar boots at tj Maxx, they are made in Canada, seemed well made and warm as waterproof, I see they sell them in Amazon etc. Whatever you do make sure you can return them, no guarantee she'll need them, winter is so finicky
