    Default Pipes are frozen

Some of our pipes are frozen including the kitchen and living room area bathroom. ARGH. No end in sight to this cold weather. Can’t find the frozen pipe so we are stuck for a few days I’m afraid. I have company coming tonight and am supposed to cook a dessert for a party tomorrow. ARGH.

And I know this is a minor issue and we are lucky not all pipes are frozen ... just needed to vent here.

Oh what a pain! Be careful though. We had a pipe freeze and water poured from the busted pipe to our kitchen while we slept. Luckily it was a small leak and damage wasn’t too bad but it could have been much much worse. Turn off the water to the house and turn it on slowly once the issue clears up. Check each room for leaks.

This happened to us once. Open all cabinet doors and crank up your heat to warm things up. You

ugh sorry this happened to you. Use a hairdryer (not a blowtorch as our fire dept posted to fb)

I'm petrified this is going to be us as we're away and I turned the heat down before leaving ......

It is fixed!! I stuck a space heater under the sink and cranked the heat up.

Glad to hear you were able to get a fix! We often keep the under-sink cabinet doors open to allow the heat to circulate when it's as frigid as it's been back home, too.
