Default I need to up my makeup game

I don’t really wear makeup but I did last night and it was a big difference. I’d love a recommendation for mascara and eyebrow gel (I have big brows that need some grooming to look their best). If you are a minimalist in make up what’s your basic stuff you wear? I need under eye help and I wear something from benefit. Oh and lipstick help. I like darker shades. Any suggestions? I’d prefer nothing $$.
    Thanks!

I am a makeup minimalist. My current routine:
-Dye eyelashes and brows (I now do this myself) every 4-5 weeks. I don’t have to wear mascara.
    - After moisturizer, primer, then liquid foundation (very light; helps even and with under eye)
    - Concealer under eye and on any blemishes
    - translucent powder to set
    - bronzer (I also dab a little on eyelids so no eyeshadow necessary)
    - blush
    - curl eyelashes and brush brows
    - lipstick or gloss

Daily routine takes less than 5 minutes.

I highly recommend going to a make up studio. I trust their artists more than the dept store, although some dept store artists are fab. I have 7 products and they generally last about a year (primer goes quicker since I use that even if going without makeup). The products are from different lines.

    Thank you!! Questions
    1) how do you die your lashes?
    2) what product brands do you use?

This is all I wear, but these things make a huge difference:

-Foundation (Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue https://www.amazon.com/bareMinerals-.../dp/B00S56TKSO) - My skin is pretty red/ruddy, and this foundation is very sheer but somehow makes my skin look amazing. I get so many compliments on my skin when I wear this stuff - and it's all due to the product. I have referred sooo many people to it. I am fair-skinned but tan and wear Natural 05.

    - Mascara (Givenchy https://www.amazon.com/Givenchy-Phen.../dp/B00U95UBQY) The weird wand really catches every lash and makes my stubby little lashes look longer

    - Sheer lip gloss (I buy whatever little tubes are on sale at Sephora, usually soft pink/gold tones)

Bear minerals makes me break out in hives — it’s crazy. Love the idea for the mascara. Thanks! I’m a lip gloss person. Thanks for that too

I just started using this lip gloss recently and I really love it:

    https://www.sephora.com/product/suga...?skuId=1190529

I bought it in the rose color, which looks kind of bright in the package but is actually very neutral. It's the first spf lip product I've ever found where I don't hate the taste and/or texture. It also lasts a lot longer than most lip glosses. It's not cheapest but it's just leaps and bounds better than any other chapstick/tinted lip gloss I've tried, at any price point.

I recently started paying more attention to this issue.
I use Rimmel eye brow gel (ordered from Amazon) - my esthetician recommended it.
I went to Sephora for an eye makeover (free walk-in). I told the woman that the last time I wore eye shadow it was blue in the '90s before she was alive and I needed help and she should make no assumptions about what I know.
She was great about talking to me and figuring out what I would need. I got a tattoo eye liner and a shadow palette and ordered brushes from Amazon. I still use the same maybelline great lash mascara I've used forever.

My 16 yr. old daughter says her favorite mascara is Too Faced "Better Than Sex". And, she has tried a million different brands!!

Also, she has an awesome lip gloss from Buxom. It is the Full-On Lip Cream and the color is Rose Julep. It is beautiful. You might
need a different color since I don't know your coloring but it is a great lip gloss.

So, I used to get my lashes dyed in salons. Loved it. But I haven't found anyone in my current location that does it as dark as I would like. So I decided to buy my own and do it myself! I only started doing my brows recently and it makes a big difference. Brow dye kit I bought: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Lash dye kit (I use blue/black color b/c I think it comes out the best/darkest looking): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 or this one: https://www.amazon.com/Refectocil-KI...words=lash+dye

    Primer: https://www.amazon.com/Rouge-Bunny-A...e+primer&psc=1
    Foundation: https://www.amazon.com/Rouge-Bunny-L...uge+foundation
    Concealer: https://www.amazon.com/diego-dalla-p...a%2Bpalma&th=1
Translucent powder: I have to check. Just got a new one. First one lasted several years.
    Blush: https://us.rougebunnyrouge.com/make-...olor=Delicata#
Tinted lip balm (love the way this feels): https://us.rougebunnyrouge.com/make-...h%20of%20Nude#
    Bronzer: https://shop.nordstrom.com/s/bobbi-b...+brown+bronzer

For lips: I discovered Maybelline Stay Matte a month or two ago and it's the first lipstick I've tried that actually stays on long enough for me to have to remove it at night with coconut oil. I wear Seductress or Lover but they have darker shades too. I usually layer a lip balm on top of it for a little shine. They just introduced a bunch of new shades so watch for those on end caps at Target and Walgreens.

For eyes: I love Urban Decay primer. It's a little pricey but a tube lasts a loooong time and it keeps my eyeshadow in place vs disappearing midday like it did before.

I'm still on the hunt for a good mascara but am intrigued by the tube kind recommended in another thread this week.

I'm curious to see what others recommend because I always feel like I learn something from these threads
