Has anyone used the Uber Family service with car seats provided at Disney World? Did you think your wait to get an appropriate vehicle with car seats was longer than without? Were the car seats as described / appropriate for your child? And was it properly installed or did you ask for time to reinstall it yourself? Was it clear where the pickup points were outside each park? I know Disney now offers their Minnie Van service but the destinations seem limited and the price is fixed and generally higher.

We are heading there in a couple months and staying off site, again at Bonnet Creek. We rented a car last time which was nice to avoid the shuttle bus waits / crowds with 3.75 yo DS who has ASD/SPD. It was also easy for DH to run out and pick up dinner or supplies at the store. But with the high rental rates for the holiday weekend, new $22 park parking fees, $30 hotel parking fees, tolls etc. it adds up to a lot more than we feel the convenience might be worth. DS is too young / too small for a portable booster seat and having lived in FL and knowing the driving (we were “gently” rear ended in our rental car at a traffic light during our WDW last trip!) - it’s clear DS needs to be harnessed.

Worst case, we suck it up and rent a car and use our own car seat after trying it for the first park day. Just looking to see if there is anything else we should know up front about the Uber Family service. Thank you!
