Help! Last minute help with Florida Gulf vacation- update in #12

Due to vacation conflicts at work, DH and I were only able to get one week at the end of June. Our usual condo rental fell through, and we're scrambling to find something. Most decent places are booked up. I've been looking at VRBO all day and now I have a raging headache and stressed about our vacation (ha the irony). Here is our wishlist:

Gulf area close to Tampa or Fort Myers (we're flying in)
beachfront (love a great view from the balcony)
3BR/2BA
full kitchen
pool
hot tub
relatively updated in decor/kitchen/bathrooms

We usually stay nearby to Clearwater, but we are totally open to new areas. Help!

I second Sanibel and Captiva Islands! Not far from Ft Myers, less busy than other areas, amazing shells...it’s been one of our favorite vacation spots!

Thanks for the recommendations! What makes this search so hard is needing 3BR and making it somewhat affordable. My mom comes with us, so she would appreciate her own room. DH and I would love to go to Sanibel or Captiva! We were looking last night on VRBO, but having no real luck.

Sundial looks gorgeous! Unfortunately they don't have any 3BR available. Same for the Hyatt but it is way out of our price range. Our usual condo is a small property and has all the amenities we are looking for, plus we usually pay about $1700 for the whole week. At that price point and given we are looking 2 months out, I think it's a dream to find that anywhere else

I'll take any other suggestions, the search is overwhelming!

Just got back from Treasure Island, and I love the whole St. Pete Beach area, I drove up to Clearwater, wow, it's so much more congested up there. We stay in a low budget old school motel, but right near us was a place called South Beach Condos, right on the ocean, nice property, they might have what you need. Check out condo hotels in St. Pete, or further south in Sarasota, it's not as far a drive from the Tampa area as Ft. Myers. It's so easy there to walk to so many places or a quick drive/Uber to some fun beachside restaurants.

My family went to Sundial every spring break when I was a kid. Great memories. I hope you have a wonderful trip.
