Default Tomorrow is DS First Communion. Can't find his shoes.

Seriously going to cry from stress. Family coming tomorrow, house is a mess. Been out all day driving kids around to games etc. Have to bake desserts. And now I can't find DS' freakin dress shoes for his First Communion tomorrow. I'm probably going to have to go and buy him new shoes, just for him to wear for 4 hours and probably never again since he'll outgrow them

I have so much to do and don't have time for this! aaaagggghhhhhh

Payless, Target and Walmart should have shoes for under $20. I agree - make your life easier and buy the desserts!

Put out a “help” text to friends with kids the same size. I got a 9:30pm text asking to borrow DS’s white dress shirt. I was happy to help.

Well, DS and I ran out to Payless and got decent shoes for $14! I was panicking because my usual go to- Kohls- had no shoes in DS size. I always forget about Payless, I was so happy to score a good sale. I really simplified my desserts, I've got them cooling now. I'll pick up some donuts tomorrow, those will go over well with my easy going crowd. Oh well, so much for making Flan etc even after I ran out this morning for the ingredients.

I don't have anyone with kids DS age who I could borrow last minute- I wish I did! Thanks for all the commiseration and advice. Church, then restaurant and back to our house for simple desserts tomorrow. I was a crazy woman yelling at the kids, the house is in much better shape. phew, off to shower and chill out with a book for a bit.
