Default Anyone going to watch the Royal Wedding?

I'm not really a royal watcher, but for some reason I'm looking forward to the wedding tomorrow! I'm planning on waking up a bit early (we'll see if I can make it for 7am EST). Just in case I've got my TiVo all set up and the coffee maker on timer. Anyone else?

Default Anyone going to watch the Royal Wedding?

Me! I’m Australian so the royal family we’re on every 2nd magazine cover when I was growing up. I watched Charles and Diana’s wedding, Fergie and Andrews wedding, Diana’s funeral, Willians wedding. I remember where I was when I found out Diana died in a car accident.

It’s early for me, but I’ll get up or at least watch what I recorded

Not me, but I was intrigued to see posters announcing that some of my neighbors have organized a group watch party starting at ... yikes! ... 4 a.m. (And most of my neighbors are retired academics, not that it matters...)

I’m recording it. I want the option to fast forward through it.

My wonderful mom is currently hosting my girls for a sleepover, and they are going to watch it together in the morning (on our coast, that means getting up at 4:30 am!) My mom bought tiaras, and when I stopped in my girls had on my mom's fancy jackets, the tiaras, and were swishing around speaking in fake British accents. My mom had a fuzzy bathrobe on with a crown and some of my daughters' costume jewelry. As a thank you, my girls brought a gift basket with English themed breakfast foods and tea. I'm very grateful she planned this! Without her, we would have done... nothing.

Oh, and we're not British. Go figure.
