Until just right now I just thought I'd wear my normal uniform of jeans and a t, some nice shoes perhaps. But is that what everyone else will wear? FWIW, DS1 is "graduating" from 8th grade. I think the kids dress up. It is held outside at 10:00 a.m. Is there a general dress code or does it vary widely by event?

You posted a nice dress for a wedding. I’d wear that and go easy on accessories. It’ll be a nice picture with your DS, so I’d go a little dressier than what you normally wear.

I would wear a dress. That's what I and most moms wore last year at our kids' 8th grade culmination.

Everyone was dressed up at 3rd grade and 8th grade graduation. You'll be out of place if you show up in jeans. A sundress is fine.

I wouldn't wear jeans. I would wear something like a jersey wrap dress. But any cute day dress will do. Or even a cute skirt and blouse outfit.
