Yes. I could never go without. A lot of my shorts have the mesh too, but I just can't...always wear panties.

Nope they already have the undies built in. I don’t like having all those layers shifting around. I don’t wear underwear with shorts or jeans either

I don’t have Athleta ones, but I wear underwear (thong) with my Colorado Clothing skorts. I do have some Athleta shorts (Ready Set Go!) that have running underwear in them and I don’t wear them then.

I wear soma bikini vanishing edge panties under everything. You can't see them, even under yoga pants and I like a barrier between my clothes and my lady parts (tmi but maybe because I don't have any hair down there it makes a difference). If I wear white shorts I wear a thong.
