Default Ody drivers, what do you use to mount your smartphone while you are driving?

I know a lot of people love the Kenu airframe, but I am in Florida where we run the AC like 100% of the time, so I'm not sure I wanted that style.

I've seen ones that plug into the lighter that had a long flexible stem so they double as a charger, I was wondering if anyone has one of those and if the phone actually stays in there and does not tip over due to the weight. In my Ody, at least in my 2009 model the charger is very low, so the stem would have to be long enough to where I wouldn't have to look down while I was driving.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you in advance!

I got fed up of my vent mount and found this. I love it… It works beautifully!

Why mount it? I’ve never mounted mine so not sure why it’d need to be. GPS?

    Yes GPS
My car GPS is fairly useless as there are no live updates.

The cup holder, LOL. But that's not ideal so I'm following this thread! We have the same problem with the Kenu airframe...hot summers, blocking vents is no good.

Oh this is perfect! And it does not fall out at all?

It does not fall out. I even read in the reviews that you can play a CD at the same time and still use this, though I haven’t tried it. Not that we listen to CDs anymore LOL

You have to stick a slim magnet onto your phone.

I love my magnetic air vent mount but it does block my the air slightly. Nothing that I’ve ever found bothersome. Honestly one of the things I can’t imagine life without. My car has navigation but I much prefer google maps.
