Facebook requests from people you BARELY know

I'm pretty sure you can't report someone for a friend request.

I get them from other single local men, I think they ask "who is that blond" who maybe commented on a post of a friend, said friend then says, oh she's single and the single guy thinks he's on match.com!

I also find if I comment on a sports article, usually on NBC about hockey, I get a bunch of random friend requests.

I just delete.

I'm not even single. Several of the ladies I know in the area who are about my age, say they get these on a regular basis. Never guys from around here, so I figure it's probably a catfishing type thing.

You can mark the request as "spam" and that person won't be able to contact you again. (I just tried it out on a random person who sent me a request to make sure.)

I have zero problems hitting "delete". One of my DH's crazy aunts by marriage tried to friend us. He and I both hit "delete". His sisters and mom didn't. Boy, did they live to regret it. It's always the tangentially related people who cause FB drama IME.

If someone friended me just to sell me something I'd unfriend them as fast as I could!
