    Default Cinnamon roll recipe

DS loves them. I’ve never made them. I bake so can make dough from scratch or use ready-made. Anyone have a recipe they love?

I got this recipe off a recommendation here on the BBB. So yummy!

The Kitchn has an easy & relatively FAST one (no proofing required!!) that my DH and DD both enjoy:

    https://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-mak...n-rolls-235030

It does require self-rising flour, but if you have baking powder & AP flour, you can mix up your own (the proportions are linked in the article/recipe.)

Rhodes frozen cinnamon rolls are good and are a lot easier than scratch if you want to eat hot rolls for breakfast and don't want to wake up terribly early. I make a caramel topping and put in the bottom of a 9x13 pan sprinkled with pecans, lay the frozen rolls on top of caramel, and let thaw/rise over night. Into the oven in the morning and breakfast on the table 15-20 minutes later.

This recipe is similar to what I do for the caramel topping --- but the recipe is scaled for 3 9x13 pans (so unless you want a LOT of rolls, reduce the amount of ingredients). The Rhodes rolls comes with cream cheese icing packages which we use on something else.
