Default Magazine for 12 yr. old girl

My mother in law likes to give the girls a magazine subscription and the girls like getting their own mail. DD1 has always gotten American Girl magazine but has outgrown it. She will be 12 in Sept. any Recs for something she might like? She is an avid reader (fantasy and historical especially), likes crafts, music, fashion, cooking and running. We are not really into pop culture/trends and I don’t want a teen magazine about boys and dating but she does like reading about how to navigate friend and social situations ( think the American Girl guide to books that give advice to girls). She may also like a faith based magazine for girls her age. Thanks for the help!

    New Moon Girls?

DD isn't quite "there" yet, but this might be a decent jumping-off point.

Honestly, I wish they still published Zillions (formerly Penny Power, which was Consumer Reports for kids.)

My DD (12) is awaiting her subscription to Brio and a friend just told me her DD (13) is enjoying it.
