Default Jeans with shortest inseam (esp. bootcut or slight bootcut)

Are there any jeans out there with ~28" inseam or should I give up and just assume I'll need to have them hemmed? Found a cute pair of short Merrell boots in new condition at Goodwill, so I need something besides my straight cut jeans.

Lands End has plenty of styles of petite jeans. Some let you select inseam (26” or 28”) and others come in one standard length and the inseam length is mentioned in the product description.

American Eagle short length, not sure if they are 29 or 28. I never found Gaps petite to be short enough.

If petite boot cut jeans are too long (I know mine work perfectly with heels, but drag on the ground if I wear flats) you might want to try a cropped boot cut.

These Gap jeans have a 27" inseam, and come in an even shorter petite length as well.

Old Navy has a similar, less expensive, version..

I'm so excited to see AE now makes an x-short length (28")! I used to love their kick booty jeans or whatever they were called, but then their inseams got too long for me for several years.

Those cropped ones caught my eye at Old Navy a few weeks ago, but I think they are actually a bit too short to wear as full-length jeans for me, and too long to wear as cropped.

I'll check out the other options.

Thanks for all the ideas, everyone!

I ordered both the Kick bootcut and the Skinny Kick from AE. Kick was too long/big, but Skinny Kick was perfect! And it arrived just in time for our trip. I seriously couldn't be happier that they now have x-short inseams! Thanks, mom2binsd, for pointing me in that direction!

I really love their jeans, they have a youthful look to them and hold up very well, and are so soft. They are my favorite jeans!
