    Default Deodorant allergy….what to use?

DS (13, so stinky) switched deodorant scents a few months ago. It caused a reaction and his armpits were red and burning. He switched back to his old stuff and it’s actually getting worse. It’s the same brand (old spice) just a different scent. He’s been using the current one for years but we had issues before we found this one. I don’t know if the current irritation is compounded from the switch or if he’s allergic to this one now too. Any suggestions for a deodorant and/or antiperspirant that is good for sensitive skin and boy stink?

Dove Mens Sensitive. I usually order it from Walmart.com.

DH has sensitive skin and uses Degree No White Marks (not the official name) and has no issues with it.

Dove or Arm and Hammer. Just keep experimenting

I developed a deodorant reaction years ago and switched to Kiehl's. https://www.kiehls.com/hygiene-and-s...B&gclsrc=aw.ds

It's pricey, but for me it's been worth it.

My DH has this reaction anytime he uses a deodorant that also has antiperspirant in it. He can only handle straight deodorant. He uses Speed Stick deodorant (the greenish teal cap one doesn't have antiperspirants in it) and hasn't ever had a problem with that.

Thank you for the suggestions! We ran to Walmart last night and got some Dove Mens Sensitive. He said he had no burning today! I was looking at the ingredients in the last two that caused burning and have narrowed it down to three ingredients. So I'll try to avoid those in hopes that one of them is the culprit if he needs to switch again.

DH is very sensitive and uses Almay. That may be an option if the Dove doesn’t work for him?
