I just noticed in comparing similiar shirts such as the applique and hotchpotch shirts that the garment measurements are different for the fall shirts than they were for the summer versions. I was all set to order dd 18-24 in pants and 2-3yrs in shirts for dd. She is currently wearing 18-24 in shirts..originally with sleeves rolled up a bit. Today I tried on 2 different sizes of the hotchpotch shirt from the summer season since I ordered a 2-3 for the future and already have the 18-24. Both fit ok with the 2-3 being a bit boxy so I was all set to order the 2-3 and now I'm not so sure. I know I can return for free but I was hoping to get it right or close to right the first time. The differences I noticed
Length of garment was 13.9 now 14.1 for 18-24 mo L of garment was 14.5 now 14.9 for 2-3 yr Overarm was 13.7 now 16.9 for 18-24 mo Overarm was 14.9 now 18.5 for 2-3 yr I couldn't get into the regular site just now so maybe my eyes played tricks on me earlier. Any guidance or explanations on this?? Thanks! |

I haven't been able to get into their site, either. But I know the summer hotchpotch is a 3/4 sleeve - is the fall maybe a full sleeve?
When I was ordering last week I noticed some things like that, too. It seemed to me that for some items that are also available in the new baby line, the kid version is running a bit bigger (at least in the toddler sizes). So that people on the verge will pony up and pay the extra couple bucks for the kid version? Maybe I'm being paranoid. ;) I'm definitely bummed that my almost 2 year old is too big for the baby line. |

I thought the hotchpotch top was 3/4 length for summer however I couldn't tell with the applique top in the catalog or online if that was too. That would make some sense. I think I might order a mix and then return if necessary.
Thanks! |
