I'm thinking of buying a Zooper Waltz as my primary (but not only) stroller. If anyone owns (or knows anyone who owns) a Waltz, can you please tell me the pros and cons of this stroller? Thank you.
First due in CA in October |

I don't own one but I really likes the one I test "drove" at a store a few weeks ago! It steered well and I thought it was really cool. I went to see the swing but fell in love with the Waltz.
The blue fabric is cool! |

I actually test drove the Waltz yesterday and was disappointed- I found the stroller so difficult to fold that I eliminated it from the running. Even the guy who worked at the store had trouble folding it (he actually broke the floor model while trying to demonstrate the fold, and had to bring out another Waltz from the box to complete the demonstration). Thanks so much for your comments, and I agree that the blue fabric was great!

I have never posted on this website, but since I used it for a lot of my stroller research, I thought I would "give something back":
I love my new Zooper Waltz. It is SUPER easy to fold (and unfold!) - very smooth and can be done almost all the way with one hand. I'm not sure why others have had a problem folding it, but I had a very competent sales person helping me in the store, so that could be the difference. It is lightweight, has a great basket with good access and comes with all the extras (boot, raincover & sunshade). I got mine in the silver color and it goes great with the Graco Snugride in Metropolitan pattern. So far I have no baby experience with it (our first is due at the end of July), but I can't wait to use it for real! I hope this helps you. |

vfos,
We're trying to decide on our first stroller and have this on our list. You said it works well with Graco Snugride--probably the carseat I'm leaning towards, too. Do you need any extra (i.e. have to buy) attachments to make the carseat fit into the stroller or does it just fit right in? Susan |

I'm also considering the Waltz or the Swing as my primary stroller. Does anyone have thoughts on which is better and why? I tested both in a store and found the Swing a little hard to close, but the Waltz was difficult too. The easiest was the Silver Cross Camden, which we're also considering. Any opinions on this one?

I don't own a Swing yet...but i have heard that the strollers get easier to open over time. maybe its just the newness of the stroller? you could always email Zooper about the problem...they might have a suggestion.
also you don't need anything extra for the carseat. It comes with a thin bar that you swap out the napper bar with to make it like a travel system. and the snugride, so i have been told works perfectly with the swing/or waltz HTH Traci |

Hello,
I LOVE my ZOOPER Waltz. I recently purchased it at A Running Stroller in FL. Marilyn was so friendly and helpful. I have the Britax Companion infant car seat and was having a hard time finding a stroller that would also hold the seat. The Waltz is easy to use and comes with many extras. I already have two other children and have been through a handful of strollers, non of which compare to the waltz. It is easy to fold and unfold, it steers great and the color is perfect...light weight and appears easy to wash. I have used it several times already with my 4 week old and love everything about it. The best part being that it holds the car seat, the seat fits down into the stroller and not hanging or clipping to the front bar. The Britax companion is a bit larger then most infant seats and can hold a baby up to 30" or 22 lbs. This was just what I was looking for. You can contact Marilyn at www.ARunningStroller.com she is very helpful and knowa alot about this stroller. Best of luck...I think you will love it. |

Sorry I haven't been online in a while - busy getting ready for this baby!
As others have said, the Snugride fits right into the stroller - no other attachments are necessary. It's very secure and easy to get in and out. I've attached a picture - I hope this gives you a good idea. Well OK attaching the picture didn't work :( But it really does fit well - there are 2 "grooves" on the bottom of the carseat that fit over the bar on the front of the stroller (so the carseat faces backwards). Like I said, it's a secure fit and very easy to put in and remove. I am so happy with my choices! Good Luck! |

Hi -
I too have the Britax Companion infant seat. DS is 4 days old. We just unpacked the Zooper Waltz and am trying to fit Companion to it. As you said, it won't latch over the front napper bar. But, it doesn't seem secure when set in the stroller and with the strap thru the safetly belt holders. The manual says you should be able to pick up the stroller and car seat as one unit by the car seat handle. When we do this, the entire end of the car seat (toward the handle of the stroller) flies up. Is there a strap or attachment of some sort for the part of the car seat that is on the back rest towards the stroller handle? Appreciate any advice anyone has in this issue! I'm sticking with the Companion, but will consider other strollers if I can't get it secure in the Waltz. Thanks to all for taking the time to help each other!
