Default ? 2003 Z-street frame alignment

I don't really post, but I have a slight problem with my Z-street frame that I am hoping to get some help on -

My 2003 Z-street frame seems a little misaligned.
let me explain...
After I collapse the stroller, when I go to latch the side hook, the hook hits the bar in the middle.
Not exactly hitting the bar itself, but the black plastic attachment on the bar (can't remember what part of the stroller this is - maybe a joint?). Does that make sense?
In the beginning, I don't remember having any problems latching the side hook, but how that black part seems to be sticking out a little too much and getting in the way.
Anyone else experience this?

-Susie

I've not had that problem but call Zooper - they are super nice and they will make it right.

Good luck.

Best,
Mary

I'm not sure if this is the same or not, but when I fold my Z-street I have to fiddle with the hook a little to get it aligned with the catch piece. I never really thought about it the frame needing aligned, but I don't have any problems with the push or steering.

Susie,

yes, I have the exact same problem. Actually, I discovered that its a user problem. When you unhook the latch before unfolding the stroller, don't push it above the plastic part. Just unhook it enough to let go of the peg, then unfold the stroller. It will work, the latch will not present a hindrance in this position.

When you fold the stroller, the latch will be already below the plastic part, so you won't have to force it over it, just hook it on the peg.

Let me know how it works on your stroller, I hope I explained it welll.
In the beginning you didn't notice it because the latch was in the correct position, and then after unfolding it you probably lifted the latch too far and got into the habit of doing it.

I had this problem also when I first got the stroller. Now, it is obviously warped as one wheel sits off the ground when it's still and it pulls to one side (can't remember which side). Also, when we unsnapped the sun cover, the whole snap came off! I'm very disappointed for a $200+ stroller which had such rave reviews!

Sorry you had such problems. I really, highly recommend calling Zooper. I've had nothing but positive experiences with their customer service. Sooo different from lots of other stroller brands.

Good luck!

Best,
Mary
