hello all! I have a P3, and I dind't get the boot with it. Well, now that it is REALLY cold out, I am wondering what I can get to keep baby warm. Is a Bundle Me the only bunting/boot option? What else is out there? TIA!

How much time are you spending out with the stroller? Would a fleece bunting (or other snowsuit type thing) work? We always used a blanket, but live in suburbia so didn't spend the time out with the stroller that a city dweller might.

Well, I see on a different post that the company store also makes things for strollers. I don't spend that much time outside, but my baby's wintercoat is so thick that she can't wear it with her carseat....so getting her from the car to the stroller and then inside (to the store) leaves her exposed to the elements for quite awhile! I was just wondering what other people use. thanks!

You need a fleece bunting. You can use it in the car seat, and it will also keep her warm in the stroller. Lands End, Columbia and LL Bean all make them, but you can find them many other places as well.

There are lots of different types of bunting options out there. My brain is fried right now, but I'm sure the girls here can give you some good options. If you click on "stroller accessories" on just about any website that sells baby gear, you should be able to see some different options.
I just bought my 15 month old a Bundle Big Toddler (regular). They have a new one out called "Urban" and it looks really cool (but it's expensive and I read reviews that it slips, etc). I got mine from Babystyle.com and used a coupon to save an additional 25%. If you visit www.currentcodes.com and look up coupons for Babystyle, you should be able to find one. I ended up paying $36.75 for mine (w/ shipping included). |

I mentioned and have the Company Store stroller cozy. I had it on my Pliko (old version of P3) for a while, and it folded with it on (with a little pushing). It also was much more convenient than putting my baby in a coat every time that I took her out of her car seat. I just took her out of the car and stuffed her in the stroller cozy and buckled her into the stroller. Their upper bodies are exposed a little, and if you have an older baby, she might want to stick her hands and arms out (like mine).
I actually thought that it was so convenient that I considered buying another one (I leave my stroller cozy on my walking stroller which I use 5 days a week), but I live in Texas and it just doesn't get that cold for that long. I couldn't justify spending the money! I hope that helps! |
