Default I got dinged today!

While sitting in the parking lot at the post office this happened today:

ME: OH no, looks like that lady is going to park next to me although there are 10 other spots in the same aisle. I better get ready to move the van because DH kind of parked crooked an right on the line.

As I hopped over the console I felt a big bump and heard it, too. GREAT !!! I hopped out of my car and around it just in time to see the lady closing her door. This is what happened next:

Me: Why did you do that?
HER: Do what? I didn't do anything. ME: Yes you did, (pointing to the ding in my door that had blue paint on it) you just pushed your door into my door.
HER: No I didn't. Talk to my husband. (Off she went, I was stunned)
ME: Hi your wife just dinged my van. (He came around surprised saying he didn't notice anything)
HIM: Well I don't see anything. ME: Yup, right here see the blue paint?
HIM: Well it doesn't line up with our door
ME: Well that's because I had already put the car in gear to back out and it moved a little.
HIM: No I don't see how that can happen. (Just then DH comes out)
DH: What happened? ME: His wife dinged our car. DH: (Looking at the ding) It isn't bad.
ME: I just think it's very rude to push your door into other people's cars and I have never done that to anyone.
HIM: I hope you have a better rest of the day (as he put his hand on my shoulder). That really infuriated me. We just left.

I have never dinged another person's car mainly because I usually park way out in the boondocks so I won't get a ding. She was just plain rude and I even believe she did it on purpose because it was a cramped space. I just needed to get this out because I was so angry about it....it feels good to let it out.

I feel better now. Thanks for 'listening'. I even forgive the numbnutt for being so rude.
Thanks.

BTW, DH brought out his buffer/polisher doohickey and rubbed it out...hardly noticeable.
