First month off pill... when to take pg test?

I am almost a week late, but this is my first month off the pill. We are not actively trying, but we only used the "pull and pray" method. Saturday will be officially one week late. I'm starting to wonder...

ETA: I know I will be irregular at first, but I'm still starting to wonder. :o

I was never too irregular whenever I stopped, just sort of business as usual.

Remember those sex-ed classes that said you could still get pregnant if he "pulled & prayed"!!!

Take a test, I say!:P

The first month off of the pill I have DS2 15 months later. I thought I counted right, but I didn't. ;) Take the test now! I didn't even know whether I was late or not, but apparently was. :D

I've always been irregular so when I went off the pill this past fall and was late I didn't worry. well eventually I tested because I completely skipped the month of January! I'm back on a more normal cycle now but that was a stressful time of multiple OTC pregnancy tests and wondering.

I was a full week late when I went off the pill - it can take a couple of cycles for you to regulate.

Some people regulate better the 1st month off, some worse...I got pregnant the first (and only!) month off and wasn't irregular at all.

I'd say go ahead...depending on whether you want it to be positive or negative...if it's negative, you won't know for sure yet, but if it's positive...
