Are there pullups that have velcro on the sides? At my ds' mother's day out, they tell me I need to send him in these, the ones we have huggies/pampers are the easy open (or something like that) that pull apart on the sides, but it's not velcro. What is she talking about?
Thanks! |

You'll be able to feel it along the side. You would be able to pull the side apart and then put it back together. It's a small strip of a velcro like material on the side seam that allows the pull up to be reclosed if it needs to be. It also sometimes makes it easier for the children to get in and out of.
I don't know if they even make the kind that don't have the velcro anymore. The ones we buy dd for nighttime have the velcro, we buy them at sams. It should say on the box, just look carefully for the kind with that feature and you'll be fine. Good luck.

Unless they have changed pretty recently (DS is in underwear), Pampers are not recloseable, but Huggies are. We had to switch from Pampers Easy Ups to Huggies Pull Ups a while back because DS's daycare teacher requested the kind of pull-ups with "velcro". It's a very narrow strip, but it can be reclosed.

Huggies Pull-ups with "Learning Designs" definitely have the recloseable velcro-like stuff on the sides. At least in the 2T-3T size.
