I was also very touched by this story. But can I ask a question? How did she BF *nine* babies at once? I assume none of them were getting enough milk but it was better than the alternative= starvation.

Maybe she's just producing more, now, you know? Her body adjusted to meet the needs, as if it was just her child going through a REALLY big growth spurt...

I'm not a breast-feeding expert by any means, but my understanding is the body responds as needed...
