Default Another DH vent

Ok, so it seems there's been a lot of little things drivign me crazy lately... DH just spends too much time at home, I think.

Today DH mentioned we were almost out of milk and a couple of other things. I reminded him we needed to go to Best Buy to get a new microwave. So I suggested we go and do both things in the afternoon. He agrees. Just before we leave he gets some email requesting some documents, which were not urgent, but he gets hyper and aske me to help look for some things. Time goes by and when I look at the clock it's close to DS's dinner time and DH is still busy, so of course I'm not going to take him shopping at that point. I figured either DH or I could go get a gallon of milk after DS went to bed.

Just after putting DS to bed, DH comes into the kitchen and starts nagging me about giving him our account balances, I tell him I already left that on his desk. So then he starts with why on Earth I didn't go to the grocery store... I offer to go, and he says he'll do it. But he did not say it nicely. I asked again, telling him I'd go if he had things to do. His answer "Well,I do, I have to eat, I'm starving and I want a bowl of cereal and there's no milk". So, off he goes, comes back with the milk and a few other things, and I walk into the kitchen to find him making himself a mini-pizza. WTH?! DH, Why were you nagging about the milk then?

Of course I made a point of casually saying "I thought you wanted a bowl of cereal". He just pretended not to hear. I then said I was glad to see he was in a better mood. And he answers that he was upset because he couldnt understand why his wife didn't go to the grocery store earlier. I HATE it when he talks about me in the third person and other tactics to avoid saying things directly.

Honestly, I just need him to start working OUT of the house ASAP! He's driving me nuts.
