Default Medela breast pump questions

I had a Medela electric breast pump that was NOT the Pump In Style, an older model--I thought it was great, but it seems in the past five years (during which time we did move across country) I lost it. Ugh. I have all the accessories for it, though, including new tubes and the bottles, several sets of the plastic parts that go on your breasts, etc.

Anyway, so I want to buy a new Medela. Is the Pump In Style Advanced the best one out there by Medela? I will be using it heavily, first to build up a stash before going to work and then every day while I'm working.

Also, I am confused about pricing. BRU and Amazon and Target have clear prices for it, but several smaller sites say to call for a price quote. Any experience with what would be a good price to pay for it?

Thanks in advance.

I was very satisfied with my PISA. I did get it from one of the smaller sites. Sorry, I cannot remember which one, but it was a "call for price" place. Actually, I emailed them for the price. I used my pump heavily for 12 months without any problems.

I got my Medela Pump in Style for $210 from BestBuyBaby.com in May. I didn't have to pay for tax or shipping. The website says call for pricing as well. I looked everywhere for the best price. At the time that was the best that I found. They were really great to work with.

Good Luck.

I just ordered it for $219 (no shipping or taxes) from AwayBabyEssentials.com. Wish I called BestBuyBaby, but this is still pretty good. Thanks for the advice. I ordered at 11 a.m. and got a shipping notice at 3 p.m. the same day!
