Help with New Native Carrier Sizing

Hi - I am getting ready to order the new native carrier and was hoping owners of this carrier can help me with sizing. I called the company and they first said small then changed to medium.

I am 5'2" and currently weigh 143 (had baby 1 month ago). My pre-pregnancy weight was 128. I do plan to lose the weight but not sure how soon this will happen. My chest size is 34. Based on the website sizing chart, I am a medium if I go by weight and more of a small if I go by my height, narrow shoulders and chest size. But I also heard that new native tends to run small. I bought the hotsling in a size 2 (xs-s) and it is way too tight.

Can anyone help me determine which size I should get?
