I love the tea party theme. We were going to do one last year for DD2 but things were too hectic for me so we went with a pumpkin carving theme and had it a few days before Halloween (early November birthday).

I'm in the middle of planning DD2's birthday right now. It is next week. We are having an Olivia themed party. I found these two blog posts that had a lot of great ideas. We are going to move the cars out of the garage and cover the garage door and floor with painter's tarps and then let the kids make their own Jackson Pollack inspired works of art. And then we are going to let them decorate their own cupcakes with a variety of red and black candies. The party favor will be a paperback Olivia book. And because I couldn't resist I'm make DD2 a skirt with some Olivia fabric.

You can find a ton of great themes and great ideas at One Pretty Thing.

My friend is having a "chocolate" theme party for her DD for her 6th BD. Obviously, they will be serving lots of treats, but I think it is a cute idea.

I think they are going to do finger-painting with choco pudding and even have a small choco fountain!

Hum..........maybe i need this theme for my 30+++++++something party later this year !
