Default Stroller blanket that won't fall off?

DC is extremely fair, so we often use a towel or muslin wrap to create extra shade when the stroller canopy is insufficient. The problem is that these fly off in the wind. Does anyone have a stroller blanket that has velcro or some type of attachment to the stroller so it won't fall off?

Are you looking for something lightweight? I have a sammysak, which is great, no zippers or Velcro, it attaches with buckles at the top and a cinching thing at the bottom. But it is fairly warm.

I have this vague memory of clips of some kind that keep any blanket attached to the stroller, but I can't remember what they are called.

Which stroller? Some have additional sun covers that work kind of like rain covers. If you need something for warm/hot weather maybe something like that would work better than a blanket.

Oh, and I used to use an Aden and Anais blanket the way you are describing. And it was big enough that I could just tie it to the stroller frame to keep the wind from blowing it away. You might see if any of your blankets are thin enough and big enough to do that. Free is always a good solution.

Yeh I have done this - but then DC can't see out. I'm not sure what I'm envisioning exactly.

They have lightweight and heavier stroller blanket/sun blockers on this site. Sometimes these have been on Babysteals too.

Thanks for the link. This looks pretty close to what I'm envisioning.

In case others are looking for something similar, it looks like these might also work: http://www.protect-a-bubusa.com/

We just bought a Protect A Bub canopy for the Mac Triumph we use at Gma & Gpa's house. It worked well, but it seemed a little hard for DS to see out the sides when the canopy is on.

That is good to know. I also found this line of sun covers, which I think is going to be the winner for our needs: http://www.sashaskiddieproducts.com/

I have the same problem with my Icandy Apple or Cam while DD is on recline position, although I have an umbrella I've never use them , but I used the sunshade from Kiddopotamus http://www.amazon.com/RayShade%C2%AE...0586163&sr=1-8, it does really cover and shade DD although DS does not like them when he is on his lascal board b/c it blocks his view and it does hide the gorgeous purple conopy she has on her stroller!
