Liam turned 7 today. George turned 4 a few weeks ago. No problems on G's bday but every year on Liam's birthday I just wind up in tears. I love them both deeply but, for some reason, Liam's birthdays are so so so much harder on me. Not sure why but it breaks my heart every year that my sweet boy gets older (although I'm grateful at the same time that he does because I know not every parent is as lucky).
Anyone else crazy like me and cries on their child's birthday?

Nope, not crazy. I cry every year on my kids' birthdays, either at the party or later that night.

My son will be turning 10 next year. I fully anticipate it being an emotional day! Something about 10 sounds so old . . .
