Default Mini Crib vs Bassinet

Does anyone know if mini cribs are regulated by the government like full sized cribs? I learned from this site that cradles and bassinets are not and am trying to find the safest way to have our baby in our room with us since full sized crib won't fit.
Thank you.

I don't know about the mini cribs and safety regulations, but you could always use a pack-and-play, mini pack-and-play, basinette, or moses basket.

Thank you- I am looking for something for the first few months so baby can sleep in our room with us. From what I understand, none of those are regulated. I like the pack and play too but saw some posts on here that it is not for everyday use. Thank you for the suggestions
