Default Would love to see some of your scarf looks

I'll start if I can figure out how to upload files.

The first pic:
My first time with a belted scarf look, really mixed feedback from friends
LE merino dress in blue
Anthro scarf
BR skinny belt
Gap stretchy shirt underneath for warmth
Aquatalia rain boots with grey hoseiry

The second pic:
A "safe" scarf look
Laura Ashley scarf (remix)
GH merino sweater
Anthro high waist cords (belted and bulky bc they are too big now)
Frye boots (probably can't see them)

ETA: took pictures down
Here is a link to the first scarf, in a different color

Here's a video of 25 ways to wear a scarf:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LYAEz777AU
And more how-to's on how to wear scarves:
http://www.maitaispicturebook.com/

I need to study these myself. I am a scarf newbie--I bought several scarves but haven't really used them much yet. I need to learn.

Love this video, but she goes so fast. I wish you could pause it or slow it down. I need to study it too.

I love her video too! She's gotten me hooked on scarves! If you go to her blog, she does break down the links to different methods to wear the scarves.

Nupe, with the first pic, I think that the scarf looks odd tucked into your belt. I would do something more drape-like around your neck.

Kind of like this...

or this..

Maybe it would work better with another type of scarf (not as heavy or wide), or having it look more thin, not covering your whole front: like this: http://www.aintnomomjeans.com/2011/0...s-a-dress.html (third picture down)
