Maclaren Global Buggy - Info from Maclaren CS

FYI - I got this response from Maclaren when researching the new global buggy system...thought some might find it helpful.

Thank you for your interest in Maclaren products.

The Global Buggy will be a full recline (5 position) stroller, which will
also accommodate an infant car seat. However, no car seat will be sold with
the buggy. The Major US manufacturer’s car seats will fit this stroller.
The Global will feature large treaded wheels, foam grip handles and a
one-handed recline mechanism. Since this product is still in preproduction,
we don’t have all details yet – weight, dimensions, etc – but we expect this
product to be available April-May 2002. Retail price for the Global Travel
Buggy will be $299.99. Approximate weight is 18-20 pounds.

The Global Travel Buggy will replace our line of Opus VI strollers which was
recently discontinued.

At this time, Toys R Us (Babies R Us) has not yet ordered this line for
their inventory.
