Default Child Size Pots and Pans Set

I'm looking for a child size pots and pans set for my DD. I would prefer the steel ones as oppose to the plastic ones that I can get at Toys R Us or something. I basically want a miniature set to mimic mine so she can pretend to cook with me. Anyone know where I can get a set? I saw them in a catalog once but can't seem to find the catalog now. Wish I paid more attention to the company name on it.

Thanks!
Joyce

I've seen sets at Marshall's and TJ Maxx before. Right now, Target has a set for under $15.

You might want to search in the Around the House forum too--that's where all the scoop on the good toys is. I think there are some old threads on this.

ETA: I don't know if you mean you want them to actually withstand heat or not. The ones I was thinking of are in the toy section but are made of metal.

We got some cute non plasticky ones at IKEA. It is a set of 3- 2 pots with lids and one pan for $6.

IKEA. I remember seeing some stainless steel ones a little while ago.

PBK used to have a good set - you might check their site. It's a little spendy but very nice quality. Although frankly I was concerned that they are so sturdy, I didn't want my son using them as missiles so opted for a less heavy-duty set.

DC play with our nesting pot and pan set we use for backpacking, which is made of stainless steel and just the right size for their little hands.

We got a metal set at Marshall's. The thing about our set that I didn't like is that DS could unscrew the knobs of the lids. Then I had little knobs and screws floating around the house. If you get a metal set, I would look for a design where this would be less likely to happen.

We have that set from Ikea, and somehow, my monster of a son managed to chip several small pieces out of the enamel and the exposed areas are now rusty :(. So I don't think I'd get them again. If your child isn't a maniac and is gentle with their toys, then maybe it won't be a problem.

Here's some sets I have saved in my favorites:
