Default New Orleans Vigilantees

I recieved this information about the New Orleans situation in an e-mail from my Mom regarding her Brother and SIL who live on Algiers Point (opposite side of the river from the French Quarter). My Uncle and Aunt were able to evacuate prior to the hurricane.

-----------
Uncle has been in contact with neighbors in Algiers Point. His house suffered no damage. I asked if the neighbors have formed a vigilante force and he said yes and they are ruthless. He said they are shooting people. The neighbor asked if Uncle had anything they could use and Uncle said there was plenty of food in the house and they should help themselves. The man said no, what they needed was weapons and fuel. Uncle said he has no weapons but Aunt's car had gas. The man said, "Your house is on X Street? We probably already got that gas."
-----------

Just blows my mind...

Since one just does not simply walk into Mordor, I say we form a conga line and dance our way in.
Excuse me, are you in a play?
