Default Summer bed rails - a nightmare

We recently bought the double bed rails by Summer. These are the only ones I saw that had both sides in one package. Anyway, the assembly instructions were miserable, the design was worse, installation was painful and use is less than optimal (it is hard to let the rail down to say the least). I appreciate having rails on both sides of the bed, but this product needs great improvement. Anyone else had experience with this product?

Yes, horrible, horrible, horrible! I couldn't even get ours set up! You did better than I did with that part. Mine is still in the box, and because DS colored all over the box with orange crayon, I don't think I can return it. I will probably try and consign it. What a waste of money! :(
