Experiences with JC Penny cribs?

Specifically we are looking at the Renew crib model in coffee. I know BBB give JCP a lower grade..but I really like this crib and it has good reviews on JCP.com so I thought I'd tap you all here to see about your experiences with both JCP and with the Renew crib. The only negatives I was able to gather from JCP.com was that the directions were um...lacking. But I've got confidence in DH that he can put it together anyway, and he is also on board. So other experiences? Shipping, quality, customer service, etc?

Don't know about the specific crib you are thinking about purchasing, however, we have friends who purchased all their nursery furniture from JCP and are very very happy with it. HTH.

We bought a Rockland crib and everything went well. We knew the instructions would be lacking from the reviews, so we were prepared (but that isn't JCP's fault). I would have no hesitation about ordering from them again.

Thanks ladies. I'm glad to hear more positive experiences about JCP, despite the directions..things sound good! I think we've decided to get the Renew crib and dresser!

We had an awful experience with them and I probably will never order from them again. They sent us the wrong crib 3 times. The first time it was the wrong model, the second and third times it was the wrong color. They did deliver the correct mattress, dresser, hutch, and changing pad to us on the first try. But I hate the dresser and hutch. I think it's poorly made and wasn't inexpensive. Also, the space for the changing pad is too small for any changing pad sold, including the one they sell.

This was 3 years ago, though, so maybe they are better now.
