Anyone know anything about Miraflex toddler frames?
My child (2 yo almost 3) is needing glasses for significant astigmatism. The ped ophthalmologist & optician recommend these frames because we also deal with a hearing aide in 1 ear & they both felt these would be the easiest to accommodate that & be most durable for a "high spirited" child.
I like that they are rubberized, no moving parts, no nose pads to annoy, & have a band to keep them in place. They do make it easy to position & hide the hearing aide easily. But honestly, they aren't as attractive as other frames, though my child is excited about the color - blue is a fave! They will be worn full time & I will be getting the transitions lenses as there is a small component of photo-sensitivity as well & we are NOT going to have prescription sunglasses to deal with on top of everything else!
I haven't ordered them yet (waiting for payday), but am wondering what other's experiences have been. The optician said that they have fewer repair tickets on them for that age group than cable temple glasses & highly recommended them.
Thanks!
