BJCMD - worth waiting for the 2012?

I think I'm set on the BJCMD, but now the question is which one!

I adore the purple (and it is S's favorite color) but I can't seem to find one anywhere! I would happily buy the purple this second if I could find it!

I do like the idea of a deeper seat and footrest as one of my riders will be nearing three. The locking close sounds useful and basket accessibility is never a bad thing.

But...

I like the look of the 2011 better. The solid color is just sort of Meh to me.

The additional $50 savings is nice too, but not a deal breaker. I just don't know what to do. (and I am spending way to much energy debating it!) I'm not due until mid Sept, so the estimated release date isn't really a big consideration either.

Do you think the new features are worth the wait?
