Do you like any of these from Garnet Hill?
http://www.garnethill.com/essential-...35?listIndex=3

The last couple of years I've bought suits (rash guards + swim skirts) from HA, but they don't sell "full length" tankini tops.

Thanks everyone - these are some really great options! I will show DD tomorrow to see what she thinks. Any other links are much appreciated!

Patagonia (kids) has good suits, although I've only purchased their 1 piece suits before.

I know you said LE was a little young this year (I agree) but what about this suit--I don't think it's babyish at all--esp in the orange (also like the green/pink combo) http://www.landsend.com/pp/girls-shi...X_girls-_-swim.

And from CWD Kids a fun swirl that comes in a 9/10 (notes say it runs a bit small so it may fit perfectly http://www.cwdkids.com/servlet/quagg...girls-swimwear

Cool Speedo one-piece http://www.cwdkids.com/servlet/quagg...girls-swimwear

and a solid Speedo (on sale) that also runs small so the 10 may be just right

hth!

Thanks!
I will show those all to DD tomorrow (though she already nixed that cute LE one when I suggested it. Apparently ruffles are out. )

We had a few suits from Justice last year - I was pleasantly shocked how well they wore. They all fit DD much better than Target (and our experience with Target's quality in bathing suits hasn't been good).

Hmmmm - just looked - most are halters. Just in case you're still interested:http://www.shopjustice.com/girls-clo...suits?page=all

Don't pay full price - about half the time the store is 40% off.

(BTW - agree on Lands' End - nothing there that I was compelled to buy this year.)

How about Hanna Andersson - their tankini is a good compromise between modest and showy. http://www.hannaandersson.com/style....simg=38455_990 Everything 40% off in the Outlets right now, including this year's stuff.

GapKids has some cute not-too-young, not-too-old suits on their website.

Gap is out because the 8s are too small and the 10/12s are too big.

Thank you all for the suggestions - there are definitely some good options linked here. I appreciate it!
