Thanks all! I really appreciate it. I just have to add that of my siblings I'm the lucky one (I'm the oldest). I'm the only one who remembers him. My 2 younger sisters have no memories at all.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine losing a parent so young, especially so unexpectedly.

I am so sorry. It was tough losing my dad at 30, I can't even imagine going through that at just 6 years old. It's truly tragic and I feel for you today

I am so sorry. My dad died a few days after my engagement and wasn't there for my wedding or the birth of my children, so I understand a bit of what you are going through. Huge hugs to you.

I'm sorry. I lost my mother when I was a little girl, so I know how painful it is. Maybe you can tell your children about him, show him pictures, etc. In that way, he will live on.
