Default Do Costco/Kirkland wipes still contain nasty ingredients?

The old formulation of Costco/Kirkland wipes contained 2-Bromo-2-Nitropropane-1, a nitrosamine and suspected carcinogen. (For more info: http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/product/...ormulation%29/). We did use them for DD1 but I've avoided them for DD2 so far (we've been using Earth's Best or Nature Baby Care). I think I'd like to try a box of the reformulated wipes, but I'm wondering if someone could check ingredients and see if they stiil contain nitrosamines or other nasties? Thanks!

When were they reformulated? Mine are from last fall, I believe, and contain the 2-Bromo-2-Nitropropane-1. I can type out the full ingredient list if you like.

Thank you for the info. I think they were redone sometime in early 2011 or maybe late 2010. I don't mean to alarm anyone already using them - as I said, we used them with DD1 (also BPA bottles among many things). But I won't rock the boat and stop using EB wipes if the Kirkland ones still contain nitropropane, even though they are quite a bit cheaper. Boo. Come on Costco, stop boasting about chlorine free until you clean up your act!

Maybe we have an older made box, but the ones we bought in April still have the ingredients in question. I think it is a damned if you do damned if you don't thing as far as wipes go. They don't cause any irritation for DD2 who has eczema and really sensitive skin so I would rather not switch.

These wipes are not the same ones you used with DD1, they switched to these new ones in late 2008 or early 2009. Honestly I liked the old ones better, but I believe the new wipes are still less icky than the old ones.
